CROSflow^® Primer Crosbe is suitable for use across both residential and commercial applications. Featuring excellent bond and rapid drying qualities, Concrete Primer Crosbe is ideal for both new constructions or refurbishing old floors and walls. It can be used across multiple surfaces, both indoors and outdoors.

CROSflow^® Primer is available in a ready-to-use format in both 20L and 5L containers.

CROSflow® Primer is a premium polymeric primer designed for cementitious systems. It is suitable for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications and can be used on multiple surfaces, so long as the surface is porous. It is available as a ready-for-use product, with a pale blue finish for easy identification on the floor.

Surface Preparation:

Concrete floors shall be sound, clean, and dry. The surface shall be free of dust, dirt, wax, grease, asphalt, latex and gypsum compounds, adhesives, paint, curing and sealing compounds, and other contaminants that may interfere with adhesion. Concrete shall be free of cement milk and efflorescence and shall not be subjected to hydrostatic pressure. Mechanically prepare the floor using recommended preparation methods such as shot blasting, scarification, diamond grinding, or other suitable methods to produce a rough, clean, durable, hard, and open porous surface. Acid etching is not a suitable method of substrate preparation. Remove all dust and debris from the floor by vacuuming the surface with a suitable Class H industrial cleaner, which must be equipped with a HEPA filter.

Application:

Using a soft brush or soft-bristled broom for flooring (for wall applications use only a roller), apply CROSflow® Primer evenly over all areas and allow the primer to dry. The primer will change color from opaque blue to transparent blue in approximately 1-2 hours, depending on ambient temperature and relative humidity. On very porous surfaces, where the initial coat has been completely absorbed, a second coat of primer may be required. Apply the second coat after the first coat has dried completely.

Coverage:

Concrete Primer Crosbe covers approximately 8-10 m², depending on the porosity of the surface, its smoothness, and the prevailing site conditions.

Clean Up:

Wash all tools, rollers, brushes, and brooms in water immediately after use.
